so anyway.
We've recently heard of the ground breaking, earth shaking news that our dear ZhangKang is attached.
For those who saw him during college day, I believe you'll agree with me that our chinese professor now carries a certain aura.
For those not around, here is a snippet of what you've missed.

jamie and me (as we spot him in the hall):

jamie and me(pausing to catch our breath and remembering that we haven't asked about him yet):
So. how are you? where are you headed for university?
-Princeton (i think)
How about FP (her)?
-Chicago (i think too. all this just flew by me, I was more interested in other stuff)
Oh. that's great! You are going to be in the states together!!
(he ponders about that for a while and says)
- But we're still a 1000 miles apart. (!!!!!!)

(Later on, we had a class lunch but jamie and I had to leave early for stuff. A while later, I received this message from ZhangKang)

ZhangKang:
you two left without saying bye to me!
anyway, nice talking today.
Hope to see you next time.
Me:
Yes! We shall interrogate you further!
ZhangKang:
haha. I know you want to hear more:)
Me:
haha. You are a changed man!
ZhangKang:
yes, changed, but still a man.

Goodness. This had to be the most amusing conversation i have had with ZhangKang ever.
Thought I'ld like to share it with you.

Okay, I dun use blogger so I have no idea how this works. Pardon me if anything looks funny. Anyway, I found this and just for old times' sake, will post it up here.

Dinner at Marina and Hanging out by the Bay

For those who missed the awesome gathering for some confounded reason, SHAME ON YOU. the rest, yayeness. A nice slow, rowdy dinner at Xing Wang Hongkong cafe (randomly interrupted by eager saleswoman we eventually evaded), and sitting by the river at esplanade chilling and singing followed by a hunt for icecream through marina and citylink mall about sums it up.

Conclusions we had come to by the end of the night:

We decided that

1. We shall hold more random gatherings like this

2. The scholars should have joined us if not for being so uncontactable

3. We shall not depart for ice cream at 11pm in future

4. Ernest was the hottest guy around
